Candidate Profile: Interest and capability in protecting corporate data security from cyber threats. Expertise with Data Science Methodologies , with preference for cyber security experience. Strong Statistics Background. Adept with databases : knowledge of Postgres , SQL Queries, Oracle, etc.
Knowledge of Esper , ” R ” Programming, Unix Scripting , Perl, Python, Java, Scala, Hadoop, Archer is desired. Mission : ADP seeks a mission critical cyber security technologist. The successful candidate will have experience with data science methodologies, corporate data security and statistics expertise, to ensure threats against information systems confidentiality are eliminated. This is an opportunity for a technical security specialist to safeguard a Fortune 500 corporation against technology breaches.
The Security Data Scientist is responsible for development of standardized metrics and reporting to enable visibility and drive organizational change through visualization and advanced analytics of data. The CIRC’s main focus is to take this information, and turn it into strategic and tactical intelligence that is relevant to protecting ADP’s lines of business. The output of this analysis will be used to ensure a consistent and coordinated response to ongoing security threats ensuring ADP can continue to operate safely and securely.â€,â€,â€, ADP is open to considering a mid-career candidate, or a seasoned expert-level candidate. Position Summary: The Data Scientist provides technical leadership in the field of big data and analytics.
This position is responsible for working with and understanding various elements of data both internal and external to ADP and its clients. It is focused on the exploration of usage patterns and profiling data from multiple sources. This position will assist in architectural mapping to a conforming model, work with business groups to help build that model, and evolve to assist in governing the model. Critical partners to product management and development to understand existing data, and work towards cleansing and/or conforming data.
Key drivers of new standard calculations; based on knowledge and identification of business logic behind HR calculations. Identifies relationships and analyze critical factors for use in predictive modeling. Will help influence and guide decisions on BI objects to build based on the subject matter expertise. Will help establish and apply data visualization best practices, and help dictate standards for the delivery of information.
The Security Data Scientist must have knowledge of new and legacy technologies, have knowledge of relevant platforms and environments, and be familiar with business process, functions and data within domain to provide innovative, insightful, and secure data and analytic solutions. Responsibilities : Analyze and Map Data across the Data Landscape to standard definitions and understandings of the data. Build inference engines to help to clean, normalize, and to fill in gaps of Data. Develop solutions to combine internal and external data sets to solve problems and to create insights into data Build predictive models and machine learning functions leveraging the data in order to directly answer production questions for business needs.
Create and promote an understanding of how information is created and used across the company. Qualifications Required: 3 to 5 years of directly related experience. Strengths with Data Science Methodologies, Statistics, databases, and programming languages. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or Statistics preferred, or equivalent education or work experience.
