Job Description:
Manages teams that are responsible for performing data management, complex analysis and modeling that maximizes profits and asset growth and minimizes credit and operating losses and other risk exposures. Their team would provide data / IM, analytical support on various product strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of databases, performance reports for senior mgt. Manages the review and analysis of trends in current population distributions and recommends strategies. Directs the development of more complex databases, program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. Oversees the data design, analysis of portfolio trends, concerning credit score cutoffs, loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria. Integrates the analysis team with other corporate units to insure alignment of analysis with business strategies and objectives. Responsible for hiring and training Risk Analysis Specialist and Risk Analysis Analyst. Master’s degree or large data experience preferred; Programming experience like SQL, SAS preferred; 7+ years experience.

Development and production of consumer and small business credit risk information. Associate will partner with credit risk product teams and other stakeholders to define data and delivery requirements and ensure processes comply with Enterprise Data Management and Risk Data Aggregation requirements. Will work closely with upstream data partners and downstream data users to ensure consistency and accuracy of data definitions and data transformations used in the information delivery process and will develop efficient/automated information production and delivery processes.

Required Skills:
Experience in risk analytics and regulatory reporting in financial services industry

Experience sourcing data across a wide range of consumer and small business portfolios

Experience mining customer complaints data and deposit data to identify emerging risks and to monitor compliance with policies

Technically proficient in SAS, SQL, Teradata, Tableau, Oracle, UNIX, MS Project, MS Office

8+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics, Reporting, Data Modeling and Forecasting using various ETL Tools, databases and Business Intelligence suite of Tools

Proven ability to manipulate and query large datasets using SAS and/or SQL.

Develop programs to extract and manipulate account, customer, and household level data from multiple datamarts for statistical and financial analyses.

Strong documentation skills to keep technical and business documentation up to date

Masters degree in a computer science and/or analytical discipline

Desired Skills:
Excellent analytical, logical, reasoning and problem solving skills.

Interact with business partners in order to understand client needs, credit policies, and business processes. Leverage business knowledge to become proactive in solving problems.

Strong communication and presentation skills required.
