Our Engineers learn and do more in one year than most do in five. *This position could be a salary grade E01 or E02 depending on combined level of education and work experience.

  • This is a remote position, however you must be willing to work nights/weekends. Responsibilities: Support new client on-boarding Participate in activation calls and meetings Review SIEM and NSM configurations for compliance with Raytheon Foreground Security (RFS) and industry best practices Develop, maintain, and enhance practice documentation and tools, including methodologies, standard operating procedures, reporting templates, and sales collateral Develop and organize standard toolkits and tool development repositories, and custom content Required Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of security engineering using one or more of the following: RSA NetWitness, Splunk, HP ArcSight, McAfee ESM (formerly NitroView) Experience with Snort, Bro, Argus and/or similar open source tools Basic knowledge of Linux operating system Willingness to learn new technologies and tools Knowledge of diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to resolution Knowledge of configuration with syslog implementations such as rsyslog or syslog-ng Knowledge of regular expressions Required Education/Experience: E01 requires 0 Years’ Experience with a B.S./B.A, MS/MA. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

E02 requires 2 Years, with a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics or 0 years with MS/MA or PhD in Engineering, Science or Mathematics. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
