The Cybersecurity organization’s
objective is to ensure that JPMC is able to effectively detect, prevent, and
respond to cyber threats against our technology infrastructure. The scope
of Cybersecurity comprises detection and monitoring of threats and
vulnerabilities, managing security incidents, and evolving our preventive
infrastructure to keep ahead of the threat. We accomplish this through
strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of
business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions
and services that are focused on improving the Firm’s risk posture.

The Brand Protection Team within
Cybersecurity Operations has the main goal to protect the firm from online
brand infringement by detecting, analyzing, and taking the proper measures to
eliminate unauthorized websites (including social media), domains, and mobile
apps that may be harmful to our customers. The objective is to protect
the firm from fraudulent activity, safeguard the legitimacy of our online
presence, and in turn protect our well established trademarks and copyrights
for our brands. This specialist will have the opportunity to interface
closely with trademark, copyright, and IP attorneys on infringing cases as well
as work closely with Cyber Threat Intelligence team, Domain Management team,
and LOB partners. This position will also provide the opportunity for the
individual to gain an understanding of trademark/copyright infringements, and other
impacts of brand erosion from malicious activities such as phishing, email
spoofing, impersonations, etc.

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with Cybersecurity Operations
    teams to collaborate on a first in class Brand Protection program
  • Author, edit, and present reports and metrics impacting
    the Firm from a cyber and brand protection perspective
  • Assist in building and maintaining
    relationships with various JPMC lines of business
  • Liaison with industry organizations and peer
    banks, as well as threat intelligence and financial malware stakeholders
  • Engage in problem solving, process
    improvement, and strategic planning initiatives
  • Continually identify and evaluate 3 rd
    party solutions to Brand Protection problems facing the Firm
  • Prepare cases for internal Under Review and Legal
    meetings pertaining to infringements researched
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the types of brand
    infringements and the disposition processes
  • Track and monitor the Brand Protection caseload
    assigned to analysts
  • Act as primary liaison to core technology internal
    technical teams to support various strategic initiates designed to protect
    the firm and our customers
  • Perform periodic quality assurance checks of Brand
    Protection databases
  • Perform research and brief entire team regarding new
    technologies used by the firm

5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity,
Information Security, or Risk Management

  • 5+ years of experience in Domain Name System (DNS),
    networking topologies and protocols, and internet security concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written
    and verbal) are a must; ability to understand complex problems while
    formally presenting them simplistically
  • Must be able to work quickly and effectively while
    maintaining a strong drive for quality
  • Demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a large
    complex corporate environment
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently on projects
    and produce required results in a time-sensitive environment
  • Extensive experience leveraging Open Source
    Intelligence (OSINT) to inform a process a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    skills
  • An ability to work with minimal direction and
    supervision in a leadership role
  • Experience managing aggressive deadlines in a
    fast-paced environment
  • The ability to coordinate, work with, and gain the

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are
    required
  • Able to articulate and visually present complex
    analysis results
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business
    representatives in explaining findings clearly and where necessary, in
    layman’s terms

This position is
anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA)
systems. Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which
includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced
screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis
thereafter. The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed
prior to commencing employment or assignment.
